Funny Drew

As you can tell from the following pictures, Andrew brings a lot of joy and laughter to our house.  I don't know what I'd do without his spunky personality!

Carrowinds Theme Park

Despite the sweltering heatwave (apparently the heat index was 110 degrees) we took the boys to Carrowinds Theme Park.  I had been pumping up the boys saying they were going to meet Dora and Diego, Sponge Bob, and the Backyardigans.  When we were at the park two years ago, it was owned by Nickelodeon and the boys were able to take a picture with Dora ...

I was surprised and slightly dissappointed to find out that the park was now filled with Peanuts characters.  Yes, the Peanut Gang, from 50 or some odd years ago.  Peanuts isn't even part of my generation so how are the kids going to know who these characters are?  They didn't but thankfully the rides kept their minds off the fact that they weren't going to meet Dora again.  I wish they didn't change the park but oh well, at least the kids had a great time.
Cool boys waiting to go to the park.
Gavin had no clue who this was.  He just thought it was a stuffed dog.

Cool Drew

On the slowest carrousel in the world

On the hot air balloon ride that pulled a lot of G's.  Fun!

Hahaha.  Andrew was scared and saying, "Aaahhhhhhh" the entire time.

He requested a green racecar

The guy did it for free!

What did Andrew choose?

The cutest tiger in the world!!!!

I cracked up the entire time these two were on this ride.  See Gavin's leg hanging out?  Hahahahahahaha.

Drew taking me for a leisurely drive.

I told him to put up his arms like this and say "Weeeeee!".  We were going about 3mph.  Hahahaha.

I was SO scared before this ride.  This was Andrew's first ride without me and I imagined him flying out of the seat.  He didn't fall out but didn't necessarily enjoy the ride either, as shown in the following pictures.

Hahahahahaha.  Andrew looked like this each time he passed us.

Phew! Done and he survived.

Hahahahaha.  Scared again.  We told him to say, "Weeeee!" but he said "Ooohhhhhhhhh." Instead.  If you can't tell, he was scared.

Pooped!

Mommy's Nights Out!

While Allison was in town, I went out with girlfriends TWO weeks in a row!  That's an amazing accomplishment for me as it is rare that I go out without the boys even once in a month.  It was nice to have adult time away from the kids - although I did find myself talking about them most of the time.  Oh well, once you're a mom you find that most conversations tend to lead towards your kids.  I can't help it.  I love these kids too much!!!

Allison sent me this picture while I went out in Columbia.  So sweet.
Girls I met through the bodybuilding competition.  All half Korean except for lovely Michelle, second from left.

Went out with Yvette!

We had this for dessert.  Yes, there were only two of us.

Allison watched the boys for the night.  I love this picture of Allison and Andrew.
Going out is fun but I love hanging out with my boys even more ... usually!

Edventure

Gavin still, 1.5 years later does not like Eddie, the big kid behind them.

Gavin picking out his groceries.  Ground beef, macaroni and cheese, and cereal.

Checking out.

Gavin actually thought he bought the 'groceries'.  He attempted to walk out with them after checking out.

In the captain's seat!

"Dinner Toime!  Gavin, dinner toime!"  No, that is not a typo.  That's how Andrew pronounced it while trying to feed Gavin a cupcake.  So cute.

The kids really thought they were cooking.  So cute.

Make music

Surfing!

1.5 years ago.  They were so small :(

We had lunch at a Korean restaurant where Andrew finished off my bi-bim-bbap.
