Happy Six Month Birthday Andrew!!!

Andrew turned half a year old today! I think we have the happiest baby on the planet. I honestly, truly can't think of a time we've taken him out and someone hasn't commented on how happy he is. What lucky, lucky parents we are!!!

Here is Gavin when he turned 6 months old!

We normally don't have to keep an eye on Gavin because he's pretty good at playing by himself. Well, this past weekend Brett and I were talking in the kitchen when I glanced over at the bar and saw this!!!
I asked Brett if he had put Gavin on the bar stool but Brett said he hadn't and Gavin must have climbed onto the stool all by himself. After initial shock and fear that he was going to fall, I grabbed my camera and took him off of the chair to see how he got up. We're going to have to keep an eye out for our little climber!

Don't you ever wonder if the daycare workers change your baby's diaper? I love this ...

We attend Sumter's First Baptist Church where they have a wonderful daycare. Every time we come home I prepare Andrew for his nap and love to see a sticker that says, "Changed with Love at FBC of Sumter". I think it's the cutest idea!

The boys in our backyard.

Poor Andrew! Don't worry, he was okay and laughing when he hit the grass.

Gavin telling me he loves me!

Videos. Finally!

This literally took hours to upload onto this site. I have to figure out a better way to put up video because I have a lot more to put on here. If anyone has suggestions, please give them!!!

Here we are taking a drive around Carowinds Theme Park. Gavin was freaked out and wouldn't stop clinging to my leg (you can see his hand as we're driving by)

This video makes me so happy. I LOVE how proud he looks of himself in this video. Look at his smile!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Family Comes to Town!

Brett's sister, Melissa, came to visit this past week and she brought along Allison and Mikey, Andrew and Gavin's cousins! We had a good time at Carowinds, going to the bombing range, and visiting Gram in Savannah. The boys loved having their Auntie and cousins spoil them for the week and we can't wait to have them visit again!

The boys waiting for Daddy to come home so we could head to Charlotte to meet Aunt Melissa, Allison, and Mikey!

Falling asleep on the two hour ride to North Carolina!

Gavin wanted butter for breakfast before Carowinds theme park. He got pancakes instead.

Andrew resting during breakfast before a day full of fun!

This is why I love having an SUV, the trunk is perfect height for changing a diaper!

Mommy and Gavin on a special car ride around the park. Gavin's driving!

Hanging out while we wait for Dora and Diego to arrive.

Look at the boys in awe of Dora.

A lot of people have told me that Gavin looks like a mini-Diego so it was extra special to meet him in person. As you can see, Gavin was very excited as well and couldn't stop talking!

Brett was able to take us to the bombing range where we got to see Mr. LARS and Mr. Utah (his old call sign - I don't know his new one) drop 25lb. bombs on a fake tank.

We headed to Savannah for a weekend visit to Gram's. It was a very relaxing trip of mostly hanging out at the pool but Brett and I were also able to take a short trip to Charleston.

Gavin in awe of the statue in Gram's courtyard.

Gavin and his Big Wheel!

Gavin ready to dive in with assistance from Mikey.

Gavin could swim on his own!

Andrew needed some help, but he did wonderfully well.

I love this picture. Melissa, Mikey, Gavin, Gram, Allison, Andrew, and Brett!

Not part of the family visit but thought these were cute pictures!

Ryan's new shoes. I think he looks so cute in them!
